The following news items first appeared between June and September 2006 (when I stopped keeping track of changes in this way). Note that due to the possibility of subsequent changes to the website structure, some of the links may no longer work.
- September 5, 2006: Mission monster drops are now displayed on the mission maps as well as on the item pages. I have added all of the information for King's Mission 39 - The Vampire Vacation as an example. It will probably be a while before all the mission monster drops data finds its way into the database through user contributions.
- August 10, 2006: Updated the Anti-Ballast Rush article. Jason shaved off a click from each method. Thanks Jason!
- July 29, 2006: Added the Character Guide by jason_kroeker. If you find this guide useful be sure to thank Jason the next time you see him in chat for the immense amount of time and clicks he spent researching and writing this guide. Thanks Jason!
- July 25, 2006: Added a bunch of level 78 and 79 monsters! Thanks Cinder!
- June 30, 2006: Added "quick links" to monster, item and mission pages. On monster pages, you can click a link to see all monsters of that level. On the item pages you can click a link to see all items of that level and all items of that type of that level. On the mission pages, you can click a link to the next or previous mission of that type.
- June 29, 2006: Added a FlyOrDie.com affiliate banner to the top of each page and a shameless PayPal Donate button to the side of each page as a way of trying to recoup some of the out-of-pocket hosting and domain registration fees associated with this site. Let's just say my wife was unimpressed with the $600 bill we got this month! If you can't scrape together a few bucks to donate to the cause, then please click the banner to get to FoD's site before subbing or resubbing any account! Thanks!
- June 27, 2006: Added a few new Boat Tools which should help people decide if they want to upgrade their boats, as well as explaining how boat transport costs are calculated.
- June 26, 2006: Added the Market Transfer Guide originally posted in the Larkinor forum by jason_kroeker. Thanks, Jason! I also fixed a bug in the Monster search discovered by Jason in which the "only show monsters which can currently be populated on TA" option was only showing monsters that could be found "Everywhere".
- June 25, 2006: Added the FAQ to the Help section. Many thanks to Cinder for spending the time to gather all this information together in one place. We merely consider this our "starting point", so if you have any additions or corrections, please e-mail them to me by clicking the "Contact Me" link in the menu.
- June 15, 2006: Added a new option to the Browse By Level monster search which lets you filter the results to only show those monsters which can currently be populated somewhere on TA. Click here to see an example of levels 40-50.
- June 7, 2006: Added a monster image upload script so monster moderators can now add new monsters without having to wait for me to add the new picture. Next up: island map images.
- June 3, 2006: Added a bunch of level 76 and 77 monsters! Thanks Cinder! Not that anyone cares, but I also revamped the monster image file name format to make these things a little quicker to add in the future!
- June 2, 2006: Added additional build or market price information to the items appearing in the item recipe trees.
- June 1, 2006: Added a New Player's Guide. Thanks to TeT for all her hard work. If everything goes as planned, the Help Section will be expanded greatly in the coming weeks.
- June 1, 2006: Fixed a site-wide bug that had to do with apostrophes (') in various searches.
